THE MISSING PLANE MH370 DAY 69 SITUATION AT 12:03AM FRI MAY 16,2014

WE HAVE GOT A COVERUP BY MALAYSIA OR A STALL TACTIC.INMARSAT SAID THEY GAVE THE DATA TO MALAYSIA AND THEY CAN RELEASE IT TO THE WORLD AND FAMILIES.BUT MALAYSIA INSISTS ITS INMARSAT THAT HAS TO RELEASE THE DATA.NOW I KNOW FOR SURE MALAYSIA IS COVERING UP THE KIDNAPPING-HIJACK AND I HAVE A HINT THEY ARE INVOLVED IN IT ALSO.TOGETHER WITH INDONESIA WERE THE PLANE WAS LANDED ON.IF MALAYSIA WAS NOT INVOLVED- THEY WOULD GLADLY GIVE THE INFORMATION TO THE FAMILIES AND THE WORLD  TO CHECK FOR MISTAKES.THIS SURE WILL REKNEW THE CONSPIRACY THEORISTS NOW TO PUT MALAYSIA IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS INDONESIAN KIDNAPPING OF THE 20 FREESCALE WORKERS.YUP LET THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES FLY AGAIN.

WE MUST INSIST THE FAMILIES AND THE WORLD GET THE DATA FROM MALAYSIA TO SEE HOW FLIMSY IT REALLY IS.AND THAT THE NORTH ARC IS THE TRUE ARC WERE THEY SHOULD BE LOOKING.EVEN MILES O'BRIEN THE LIBERAL ABOUT THE DATA IS NOW CALLING FOR MALAYSIA TO GET THIS DATA OUT OF THE CLOSET. AND WHY THE STALL TACTIC.

Raw data with Inmarsat, not us, says Hishammuddin-Astro Awani | Updated: May 15, 2014-Hishammuddin Hussein at the press conference today

KUALA LUMPUR: The raw satellite data sought by the family members of passengers and crew onboard flight MH370  can only be released by British satellite telecommunications company Inmarsat, said Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein today.Hishammuddin was responding to questions by the media on the demand made by the next-of-kin for the release of all raw data, including satellite information, in their hopes that “the whole world can help look for the plane”.The families had also suggested that the government can buy over the data so that it can be accessed and analysed by outside experts.“The raw data is not in the hands of Malaysia, Australia or MAS. What needs to be confirmed or released can only be done by Inmarsat themselves,” Hishammuddin told reporters at a media briefing this evening on the still missing Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.

'Who will be responsible?'

Meanwhile, asked about the insistent claim made by Australian Geological survey firm GeoResonance that the plane could be in the Bay of Bengal, Hishammuddin said searches have found nothing so far.“We have used and asked for the Bangladeshi military and India as well. We have not found anything.“If we want to go into more detailed search, it would involve commercial assets. We have vessels that are able to do it. (But) that would be at the expense time spent for the search and secondly it is going to be expensive... I leave it to the experts to decide whether we go further.“Who is going to be responsible if the finding is negative?” he added.

MH370 search in transition phase

Hishammuddin said that the international operations are entering a “transition phase” that was prioritising deep sea search. All air and sea surface search has been suspended at the moment, he said.Asked on costs of the search, Hishammuddin said that there were “third parties” that have shown willingness to help if it went beyond Malaysia’s capabilities. However, he did not want to reveal who the parties were.On March 8, 12.41am, flight MH370 with 239 people on board took off from the KL International Airport for Beijing, China before going off the radar less than an hour later. The 69-day international search for the missing jetliner, is now focused in the southern Indian Ocean, off the west coast of Australia has proven fruitless so far.

White paper on MH370 needed, DAP tells Govt-Astro Awani | Updated: May 15, 2014-LIEW: It's pathetic that the Prime Minister seems to think that apart from response time, the only thing that went wrong with the MH370 issue was communication.

KUALA LUMPUR: The government should present a white paper to Parliament on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 to avoid a similar crisis in future, DAP urged today.Kluang MP Liew Chin Tong said the Transport Minister must do so to explain the international search mission and its costs, and study what changes need to take place."A White Paper to Parliament is especially important in view of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal on May 13, 2014, in which he conceded that 'we didn’t get everything right'."The Government must be more open about what actually went wrong on the fateful day of March 8 and how not to allow such incident to recur,” said Liew, the DAP National Political Education Director.“A more candid and transparent approach will help revive confidence in Malaysian institutions," he added. He pointed out that Australia treasurer Joe Hockey had recently announced that the Australian government allocated A$90 million (RM270 million) for the search of the missing jetliner for the next two years.Aside from a white paper, Liew echoed the call from others for a parliamentary select committee (PSC) to investigate the incident thoroughly.“Najib doesn’t inspire confidence when he tells the world that 'nobody saw this coming, nobody knows why it happened, and nobody precisely where it is'."Liew said it was pathetic that the Prime Minister seemed to think that apart from response time, the only thing that went wrong was "communication".Previously, DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang had asked for an international parliamentary inquiry on the Malaysia Airlines tragedy as he argued this was an international tragedy. The Beijing-bound flight with 239 on-board disappeared from radar screens on March 8 less than an hour after take off.The international search for the missing jetliner has proven fruitless so far.
