22  And the children (2 NATIONS IN HER-ISRAEL-ARABS) struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.

14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

European Parliament Votes to Recognize 'Palestine'-EU parliament votes to recognize Palestinian state 'in principle', just hours after removing Hamas from terrorism blacklist.By Arutz Sheva Staff-First Publish: 12/17/2014, 2:14 PM-israelnationalnews

The European Parliament overwhelmingly backed the recognition of a Palestinian state "in principle" on Wednesday, following a series of votes on the issue in EU nations which have angered Israel.
Lawmakers approved the motion by 498 votes to 88 with 111 abstentions, although it was a watered down version of an original motion which had urged EU member states to recognize a Palestinian state unconditionally. The socialist, greens and radical left groups in the European Parliament had wanted an outright call for the recognition of Palestinian statehood. But the centre-right European People's Party of European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker, the leading group in parliament, forced them into a compromise motion linking it to peace talks.  "There is no immediate unconditional recognition (of statehood)," EPP chief Manfred Weber said. But his socialist counterpart Gianni Pittella insisted it was a "historic decision" and a "victory for the whole parliament".Several European parliaments have passed motions urging their governments to recognise a Palestinian state in recent weeks in a bid to pressure Israel to relaunch the moribund peace process.France, Britain, Spain, Ireland and Portugal have all passed votes to that end. Sweden has gone even further, officially recognizing "Palestine" as a state. The vote couldn't have been more poorly-timed, coming just hours after the EU provoked a storm of criticism by removing Hamas from its list of terrorist organizations due to an alleged "technical issue."While EU officials rushed to explain that the move was only temporary and that it still related to Hamas as a terrorist group, Israeli officials were infuriated by the move."We are not satisfied with EU explanations that the removal of Hamas from the terror organization list is a 'technical matter,'" Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu challenged."The burden of proof is on the EU and we expected them to immediately return Hamas to the list as everyone understands that it is an inseparable part of it - Hamas is a murderous terrorist organization that notes in itscharter that its goal is to destroy Israel," he added. "We will continue to struggle against it firmly and with strength so that it will never achieve its goals."Other senior legislators had harsher words still, blasting the Europe's "blindness" and "loss of moral way."Deputy Transportation Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) said the decision "testifies to the disconnect by Europe from reality.""Hamas which is responsible for hundreds of dead citizens in Israel, Hamas which trains three-year-old children with weapons, and Hamas which took all residents of the (Gaza) strip hostage as a shield for terror activities is the forefather of murderous terrorist organizations; those who whitewash an organization like this give terror a hand," she added.Likud Central Committee Chairman Danny Danon accused Europeans of reasonng "that their blood is holier while the blood of Israelis is abandoned - otherwise it is impossible to understand how the European court decided to remove the Hamas organization fromthe list of terrorist organizations.""In Europe apparently they forgot that Hamas abducted three youths last summer and shot thousands of rockets at citizens of the state of Israel," continued Danon. "This is European hypocrisy that is a continuation of their two-faced proposal to support the establishment of a Palestinian state. The message from the court: kill Israelis and get a state."Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett also condemned the decision, saying: "the sodomite laws of the European court allowed the spilling of the blood of Jews wherever they are and speak to the loss of a moral way.""If there's someone who thinks the sacrifice of Israel will save Europe, they're wrong," added Bennett. "Israel is strong and knows to defend itself from those seeking its harm, but the ones who will suffer from strengthening terrorist organizations are the Europeans themselves. Terror that receives justification in Tel Aviv will spill quickly to London,  Paris and Brussels. Unfortunately Europe can't say we didn't warn them in advance."Knesset speaker MK Yuli Edelstein (Likud) accused the EU of "losing its head.""Removing Hamas from the terrorist organizations list by the Union's court teaches about the imperviousness and moral warping, and is a prize for Islamic extremist terror that strikes every place in the world including Europe itself. Is there no limit to shame? I hope that the injustice is fixed quickly."

EU Lawmakers Soften Motion on Recognition of 'Palestine'-EU lawmakers stop short of proposing a motion urging recognition of “Palestine”, settle on calling for resumption of peace talks.By Ben Ariel-First Publish: 12/17/2014, 6:14 AM-israelnationalnews

European Union lawmakers stopped short on Tuesday of proposing a joint motion urging EU members to recognize “a state of Palestine”, settling instead on a compromise resolution that peace talks should progress, according to Reuters.Social Democrat, left-wing and Green members of the European Parliament had put forward motions for a symbolic vote on Wednesday to call on the EU's 28 members to recognize Palestine statehood without conditions. However, the center-right European People's Party (EPP), the largest group in parliament, and the fourth largest group, the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), said recognition should only form part of a negotiated agreement with Israel. After talks on Tuesday, negotiators for the center-left Socialists and Democrats, the EPP and ALDE, which together command a large majority in parliament, agreed on the following text, quoted by Reuters:"(The European Parliament) supports in principle recognition of Palestinian statehood and the two-state solution, and believes these should go hand in hand with the development of peace talks, which should be advanced."Voting on the non-binding resolution will take place shortly after midday on Wednesday in Strasbourg, the report said. The vote was postponed several weeks ago due to issues of wording. The resolution comes in the wake of several moves by European countries to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state.France’s upper house of parliament voted last Thursday to urge its government to recognize “Palestine”. The French move came hard on the heels of a similar motion in the Irish parliament on Wednesday.British lawmakers voted overwhelmingly on October 13 in favor of a non-binding motion to "recognize the state of Palestine"; Sweden announced on October 30 it officially recognized the state of "Palestine"; and several weeks ago, Spanish lawmakers adopted a motion calling on the government to recognize a Palestinian state.Last Friday, a similar motion passed in Portugal. In Belgium, legislators are working on a resolution to recognize a Palestinian state, though the government recently said any timing to proceed will depend on European Union action.

Liberman: EU Pressure on Israel Undermines Peace-FM slams EU's unilateral moves to remove Hamas from terror blacklist, recognize 'Palestine.' Liberman: they should pressure the PA.By Tova Dvorin and Yoni Kempinski-First Publish: 12/17/2014, 5:45 PM-israelnationalnews
Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman issued a sharp response to the European Union (EU)'s recognition of the Palestinian Authority (PA) on Wednesday, labeling the move "counterproductive" and noting that the vote shows a distinct bias."The decisions made today by the European Union do not contribute to improving the situation in the Middle East, nor do they improve the situation between the Israelis and the Palestinians," Liberman stated. "We think that any unilateral steps are very, very counterproductive. [There is] only one way to resolve our dispute with the Palestinians: direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.""Any attempt to place pressure on Israel will only undermine all our efforts to bring [a] comprehensive, reasonable solution to the Middle East," he continued. "We think it's crucial to place the same pressure on the Palestinians."Earlier Wednesday, the European Parliament formally recognized the Palestinian Authority (PA) as a state "in principle." Lawmakers approved the motion by 498 votes to 88 with 111 abstentions, although it was a watered down version of an original motion which had urged EU member states to recognize a Palestinian state unconditionally.Hours earlier, the EU provoked a storm of criticism by removing Hamas from its list of terrorist organizations due to an alleged "technical issue."Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu responded with sharp criticism of his own on both votes."The friendship of the people of the United States of America with Israel stands in sharp contrast with what we see unfortunately in Europe,” Netanyahu said. “In Geneva they call for the investigation of Israel for war crimes, while in Luxembourg the European Court removed Hamas from the list of terrorist organizations, the same Hamas that has committed countless war crimes and countless terror acts.”“It seems that too many in Europe, on whose soil six million Jews were slaughtered, have learned nothing. But we in Israel, we have learned,” Netanyahu said. “We will continue to defend our people and our state against the forces of terror, tyranny and hypocrisy.”

Netanyahu Demands EU Place Hamas Back on Terrorism List-Netanyahu joins outpouring of ministers and MKs criticizing removal of Hamas from terror list; EU message is 'kill Israelis, get a state.'By Ari Yashar-First Publish: 12/17/2014, 12:54 PM-israelnationalnews

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu joined a growing number of outraged ministers and MKs responding on Wednesday to the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg's decision to remove Hamas from the European Union's (EU) terror list."We are not satisfied with EU explanations that the removal of Hamas from the terror organization list is a 'technical matter,'" said Netanyahu, retorting to the court's justifications that not enough evidence had been presented to put Hamas on the list in what it called a technicality."The burden of proof is on the EU and we expected them to immediately return Hamas to the list as everyone understands that it is an inseparable part of it - Hamas is a murderous terrorist organization that notes in its charter that its goal is to destroy Israel," added Netanyahu. "We will continue to struggle against it firmly and with strength so that it will never achieve its goals."Following the decision, the EU is to submit sound legal evidence against the terror group to return it to the list, and in the meantime its assets remain frozen.Deputy Transportation Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) also responded to the decision, saying it "testifies to the disconnect by Europe from reality.""Hamas which is responsible for hundreds of dead citizens in Israel, Hamas which trains three-year-old children with weapons, and Hamas which took all residents of the (Gaza) strip hostage as a shield for terror activities is the forefather of murderous terrorist organizations; those who whitewash an organization like this give terror a hand," argued Hotovely."The Europeans apparently reason that their blood is holier while the blood of Israelis is abandoned - otherwise it is impossible to understand how the European court decided to remove the Hamas organization from the list of terrorist organizations," said Likud MK Danny Danon."In Europe apparently they forgot that Hamas abducted three youths last summer and shot thousands of rockets at citizens of the state of Israel," continued Danon. ZOA Head: EU Legitimizing 'Arab Nazism'-Special interview: ZOA President Morton Klein explains why EU striking Hamas from blacklist means 'Europe doesn't care about killing Jews.'By Tova Dvorin-First Publish: 12/17/2014, 10:15 PM-israelnationalnews
The European Union's (EU) removal of Hamas from its terror blacklist sets a precedent for allowing anti-Semitism in Europe to run rampant, Morton Klein, National President of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), stated Wednesday."This both encourages and legitimizes Islamic terrorism and Islamic murder against Jews and others, and it sends a message to Islamic killers that Europe doesn't care about what they do to Jews," Klein stated in a special interview with Arutz Sheva."This is especially astonishing because the Muslims are killing non-Jews in Europe and elsewhere as well.""It also, of course, gives credibility and legitimacy to Hamas as an organization, even though their charter calls for the murder of every Jew," he continued, citing Article 7."These are Nazis. If you have a charter calling for the murder of every Jew, you are a Nazi. These are Arab Nazis, who proved it by launching six thousand rockets against civilian centers in Israel and creating terror tunnels to murder Jews and calling Jews the most disgraceful names imaginable.""It sends a message to the world that Europe doesn't care about killing Jews," he said. "It's truly frightening."Klein opined that the move will not have long-lasting political ramifications, however - neither for the US nor Israel."When one sees that the US said nothing about Hamas allying themselves with Fatah, and continuing to fund Fatah despite this allowance, it is clear that President Obama's administration will not in any significant way respond to this," he stated. "I don't think America will react in any meaningful way.""In Israel, of course, it only makes the Israelis realize even more that they have virtually no friends in Europe," he added. "There should be an outcry by every leader in the world against this insanity - this racist, Jew-hating insanity which endangers non-Jews around the world as well."

Hamas Burns Temple Model in Anniversary Rally-In honor of 27th anniversary, Hamas puts out new propaganda video and parade showcasing its "successes" over Israel.By Cynthia Blank-First Publish: 12/14/2014, 2:20 PM-israelnationalnews

On the 27th anniversary of its establishment, terrorist organization Hamas continues to send threatening messages to Israel - this time via an especially provocative parade in Gaza and with the release of its latest propaganda video. The video, released by Hamas' military wing the al-Qassam Brigades, features the voice of wanted terrorist Muhammad Deif. Deif, the Chief Commander of the brigade, has allegedly survived five Israeli airstrikes, the most recent during Operation Protective Edge. Deif's voice in the video comes from an old recording which was broadcast during Operation Pillar of Defense in November 2012. In the recording, Deif can be heard saying "It is time to purify the Al-Aqsa Mosque [from Jews]."A short time later, the shadow of a man, similar to the appearance of Deif, can be seen, despite the unclear photography. The video also contains a montage of Hamas' "successes" over the years in its struggle with Israel. These include a picture of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier kidnapped by Hamas in 2006 later exchanged for over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners in 2011.Other images include that of Hamas' long-range missiles and men from Hamas' divers unit. At the beginning of the video, a shot of the Nahal Oz military post can be seen. Five soldiers lost their lives there during Operation Protective Edge in July. The purpose of the video, it seems, is to show that even four months after Operation Protective Edge, Hamas is still able to threaten Israel.Meanwhile, this weekend, during a rally in Gaza City celebrating its anniversary, Hamas paraded around the streets, presenting its "abilities" and "innovations" to the Gazan public.A 160 Rantissi missile fired to Haifa during Operation Protective Edge was displayed. Additionally, members of Hamas' naval commandos who carried out underwater attacks into Israel, made a rare appearance.Hamas also took aim at Israel. Members dressed up as Israeli soldiers wore masks with the faces of late soldier, Shaul Oron hy"d, and Gilad Shalit on them. The parade also featured Hamas members burning an effigy of a Jew and a model of the Temple. In addition, they carried around coffins with photos of the rabbis murdered in the Har Nof attack.
