Dear Stan,Remember when the mainstream media attacked Conservative minister Jason Kenney for cutting off government funding to the Canadian Arab Federation? Kenney argued that they had supported Islamic terrorism and anti-Semitism. But the Arab Federation sued him, to the delight of the media.Well, just the other day, the Federal Court of Appeal ruled in Kenney's favour. But here’s the funny thing: all of a sudden, the media have lost interest in the story. Funny — do you think they’d ignore the 3 to 0 court ruling, if it had gone against Kenney? Oh, one more thing: the former president of the Canadian Arab Federation, Omar Alghabra, is a candidate for Justin Trudeau's Liberals. I wonder if that has anything to do with the media silence.I made a video exposing this story. You can watch it here.Look, you just can’t count on the rest of the media to tell you the whole story about things like this. They’re too biased. Only our news site, The Rebel, is doing this real journalism. But we need your help.
Please [www.therebel.media/donate]donate right now to The Rebel so we can continue to expose the truth. It is so important that someone is willing to speak up.Yours truly,Ezra Levant-P.S. If you think these issues are important, we are crowdfunding our new expanded Israel coverage. Please help us reach our goal of $10,000 by [www.therebel.media/israel_coverage]donating here.

NOBODY ALLOWED IN MUSLIM HOUSING BUT MUSLIMS
http://www.therebel.media/no_infidels_allowed
https://www.facebook.com/jointherebel/posts/917241555009451

Dear Stan,Austin Lewis is a 21-year-old Toronto man who’s paralyzed, and confined to a wheelchair. He needs public housing. But when Lewis applied to live in a taxpayer-subsidized apartment on Finch Avenue in Toronto, he was told he wasn’t allowed — because he wasn’t a Muslim! But here’s the craziest part: not only did the City of Toronto know about this ban on non-Muslims, they approved it in a special contract with the Muslim mosque that runs the place. So taxpayers of all religions are forced to subsidize a special apartment building just for Muslims. No infidels allowed. Sharia law has come to Toronto — with City Hall’s blessing. You can see my shocking report on the subject here. We’ve simply got to spread the word about this news — please forward this e-mail to as many friends as you can, and post the video on Facebook. But even that’s not enough. We have to tell Toronto Mayor John Tory, and the whole city council, that a “no infidels allowed” public housing policy is just as un-Canadian as a “no Jews allowed” or “no Blacks allowed” policy would be. It’s discriminatory. It’s just not the Canadian way.So we’ve set up a petition, on the website www.NoInfidelsAllowed.com. Just click here, and add your name to our list. We’ll send the petition to the mayor and the council. It’s important.I actually believe that private property owners should be allowed to decide who they rent to — even if they discriminate against “infidels” like Austin Lewis. But this is public housing. And taxpayer money shouldn’t go to set up a sharia law ghetto. Will you help me convince Toronto’s politicians to stop funding segregation in Canada? Please click here to join our fight for equality before the law.Yours truly, Ezra Levant -P.S. Please forward this e-mail to your friends, and ask them to watch the video and sign our petition now. It’s important! -P.P.S. As you know, we’re the only media in the country fighting back against this. If you want to chip in to help fund our independent journalism, please click here. Even $10 or $25 helps us do our work!

YAHUDA GLICK LAUNCHES NEW TEMPLE MOUNT TOUR GUIDE BOOK.

Opinion Article-The battle of perceptions-If Iran develops nuclear weapons, it’s got everything. It already has enough rockets to destroy Israel in a surprise attack. It would not be dissuaded by the fact that about 1.5 million Israeli Arabs would also die. Islam provides heaven’s glorious consolation for Muslim martyrs-2015-08-31 by Carlos Alberto Montaner

Its name is aseptic but also enormously controversial: Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. It’s the accord between the United States and Iran on the control and elimination of nuclear arms that Teheran proposed (or proposes) to manufacture. It was backed by the neighborhood biggies: the United Kingdom, France, Russia, China and Germany.Naturally, Israel hit the roof. If Iran develops nuclear weapons, it’s got everything. It already has enough rockets to destroy Israel in a surprise attack. It would not be dissuaded by the fact that about 1.5 million Israeli Arabs would also die. Islam provides heaven’s glorious consolation for Muslim martyrs. An exaggeration? That’s what the ayatollahs incessantly claim. Eighty years ago, many Jews refused to believe what a zealous imbecile with a ridiculous little moustache wrote in Mein Kampf. He ended up killing six million Jews and forever exterminated Europe’s brilliant Jewry. But Israel is not alone. Two hundred retired U.S. generals, admirals and vice-admirals have just signed a letter asking U.S. legislators not to support the pact. They’re doing it not only for Israel; they’re thinking of the interests of the United States and its allies. The arguments they wield are disturbing. The officers are certain that Iran will not abide by the agreement. That the non-manufacture of nuclear bombs cannot be verified. That the agreement gives Iran greater access to billions of dollars, many of which will help subsidize the Hezbollah terrorists. And that Iran’s nuclear capability will turn the Middle East into a place less safe than it already is, triggering a nuclear race with other Arab states.Curiously, the great Ayatollah Sayyad Ali Khamenei proved the U.S. officers right. After the accord was announced, he stated that Iran would not change its stance. The destruction of Israel continued to be a sacred and permanent objective.Of course, not all American officers have the perception of those who protested. Two weeks ago, three dozen former officers, equally high-ranking, asked Congress for the opposite -- support the pact inked by Barak Obama and John Kerry with the ayatollahs. They argued that the accord reduced the chances of conflict; they supposed that any noncompliance by Iran could be detected, and believed that there is no better option than the one achieved. It was the best of all possible pacts in the imperfect world of international relations.Somehow, the pro-pact officers respond to the United States’ nationalist trend expressed by theoreticians who are convinced that this huge country with 310 million inhabitants should not be drawn into a dangerous conflict by the State of Israel or any other nation in the world. In any case, why do Obama and Kerry deal with Iran? Judging from Kerry’s words, reported by the Reuters news agency, because they want to save the United States from the antipathy aroused by U.S. policy in the Middle East. They want the United States to be loved and admired and are bothered by the rejection that their country (apparently) provokes. Probably, like so many critical Americans, especially in the academic scene, they share some embarrassment over Washington’s traditional international conduct. In reality, Obama and Kerry have fallen into the trap of believing that the propaganda so far widely disseminated and forcefully hammered reflects the criteria of public opinion. They don’t realize that there is a permanent anti-American campaign, persistent and effective, that projects an alleged collective criterion that comes not from society in general but from a small and vociferous élite that distorts reality and has made “anti-Yankeeism” its leitmotif.Maybe when John Kerry protested against the war in Vietnam -- in which he fought -- or when Barack Obama was a “community organizer,” they coincided with the analyses of those who were ashamed of U.S. behavior, such as Noam Chomsky or the late Saul Alinsky. But that, strictly speaking, although it represents a majority opinion of university educators and is one of the left’s identifying marks, is not the opinion endorsed by most of the international community, especially ordinary men and women. The objective reality is that the United States is one of the world’s most admired countries, the nation where the poor of half the planet wish to live, as revealed by the huge poll conducted every year by Anholt-GfK Roper Nation Brands, whose pollsters question more than 20,000 people in 20 significant countries. In the indices they compile, until 2014 the United States headed the list of the ten most loved nations. Today the U.S. ranks second, now that Germany rose to Number One. The other eight are the usual suspects: England, France, Canada, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and Sweden. That’s the truth. The rest are perceptions. Sleights of hand.- See more at: http://www.friendsofisraelinitiative.org/article.php?c=171#sthash.xPKXcX2J.dpuf

Yehudah Glick Launches Campaign to Publish Groundbreaking Temple Mount Guidebook-By Abra Forman August 31, 2015 , 9:30 am
“Come, let us ascend to the mountain of the Lord.” (Isaiah 2:3)

Rabbi Yehudah Glick’s Temple Mount advocacy organization, the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign with the goal of raising enough money to publish a unique guidebook to the Temple Mount complex. The book, called “Arise and Ascend”, was written by Dr. Meir Antopolsky and produced as a joint effort between the Meeting Place Association and the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation with the goal of making the Temple Mount accessible and meaningful not only to its visitors, but to the millions of people around the world who want to learn more about the site, considered the holiest in Judaism.Because of the nature of the site, whose controversial history has led to a tense state of affairs in which Jewish and Christian visitors are nearly constantly harassed and threatened by Muslim agitators, the Temple Mount is not always a tourist-friendly place. There are no helpful pamphlets handed out at the entrance, and no informative signs on the buildings and features of the Mount. Without an expert guide, visitors are often unable to truly grasp the spiritual and historical importance of the Temple Mount. The creators of “Arise and Ascend” are hopeful that the book will fill this need, and help to heal some of the site’s conflict at the same time. Antopolsky told Breaking Israel News, “I hope that the book will help to change the vision of the Temple Mount from a point of conflict to a point of connection. We want to reach a point at which we can unite all people of goodwill, from all over the world, around service to the Only God.”The book, exhaustively researched from historical, archaeological, religious, and Biblical perspectives, leads visitors on a self-guided walking tour in a clearly laid-out path intended to preserve the sanctity of the Temple Mount site. It includes maps, timelines, and color photos, and cites scholastic as well as Biblical and Talmudic sources, drawing from historical accounts, archeological records and scriptural verses to reconstruct the site as it was in the past and explain its present condition. While the book identifies and describes the many features on the Temple Mount itself, including the Dome of the Rock, the various mosques on the site, and the ancient gates leading to the Mount, it also provides guide information about the Mount’s exterior walls, such as the Western Wall (Kotel) and the southern wall excavations.Bring the Temple Mount to Millions Around the World-“Arise and Ascend” also addresses the religious issues and requirements of ascending to the Mount, which have raised concerns among many observant Jews who believe that ascending to the Mount is forbidden. Since this question is one of contention among rabbinic leaders today, the Meeting Place Association and the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation offer readers the opportunity to contact religious authorities with any questions they might have. The book has been widely endorsed by diverse religious leaders around the world and includes introductions written by Israel’s Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, chief rabbi of the town of Efrat; American Pastor Keith Johnson, who founded the Biblical Foundations Academy International; and Muslim and Islamic scholar Adnan Oktar from Turkey.“The Holy Temple in Jerusalem – The City of God, the City of Peace (shalom), the City of Wholeness (shalem) – is ultimately to be the source from which teachings of love, morality and peace will extend to all the families of the earth,” wrote Rabbi Riskin in his introduction. “The Guide to the Temple Mount is a user-friendly handbook that carefully examines the present reality of the Temple Mount and through it provides glimpses of the past and a vision for the future.”Pastor Johnson wrote, “It is a rare opportunity to set our feet where the Creator of the universe has set His name. Such is the case when we arise and ascend to the Temple Mount. I pray that all who make their way to this sacred place will interact with the historical, archaeological, and biblical information in this book and personally experience the promise of the One who said, ‘I have consecrated this house which you have built by putting my Name there forever, and My eyes and my heart will be there perpetually’ (1 Kings 9:3).”Oktar added in a message of brotherhood and peace, writing, “The Temple Mount is a holy place that we wish to be the abode of love, peace and brotherhood. We pray that this site becomes a peaceful place where we can express our faith, allegiance, submission and love of God…By the will of God, within a short time Muslims, Jews and Christians will all walk down that road accompanied by the sound of the shofar, azan, and church bells, praying to and praising God under the guidance of Moshiach (Messiah).”Yehudah Glick presented Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with an advance copy of “Arise and Ascend”In addition to support from other religious leaders, “Arise and Ascend” has the approval of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well. Glick presented the prime minister with an advance copy of the book at a meeting during which the two discussed the current situation on the Temple Mount.“He who does not study and understand his past misses out on any understanding of the present and the future,” Netanyahu said during the meeting. “This is the only way we can really understand the connection between the people of Israel [and] Jerusalem.”Glick hopes to raise enough funds to print 10,000 copies of the guidebook. Donations to the month-long online campaign will be matched dollar for dollar, and supporters who donate $50 or more will receive their own copies of “Arise and Ascend.”“It is a great responsibility to put out, for the first time in history, a guidebook for visitors to the holiest place in the universe,” Glick told Breaking Israel News. “We tried to do our best to present a comprehensive work, including maximum details but keeping the popular style so that it will be a ‘user friendly’ tool. I pray to God that it will bring more and more people from all over the world close to Him and His chosen City.”
