Palestinians stab 80-year-old woman, others in 2 separate attacks in Israel-By Ian Deitch, The Associated Press | The Canadian Press – nov 2,15-yahoonews

JERUSALEM - A Palestinian stabbed and wounded a 70-year-old man in northern Israel before being shot by officers, police said Monday just hours after another Palestinian knifed several people, including an 80-year-old woman, in a stabbing spree near Tel Aviv, the latest attacks in more than a month of violence. The attacks came after Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian who they say tried to stab a soldier in the West Bank.A Palestinian stabbed and wounded a 70-year-old Israeli man, seriously wounding him as he walked down the street in the northern city of Netanya, police said Monday evening before he was shot and wounded by police.Earlier, Israeli police said a Palestinian stabbed an 80-year-old woman in the back on a street in Rishon Lezion near Tel Aviv Monday afternoon and then stabbed a man in the chest before continuing to run down the street and carrying out another attack. Police Spokeswoman Luba Samri said that after stabbing the first two Israelis, the Palestinian, a 19-year-old from the West Bank city of Hebron, tried to enter a clothing shop but a woman in the store slammed a door on him. The Palestinian then went into a cosmetics store and stabbed another man. Bystanders managed to tackle and apprehend the attacker. Police then arrived on motorcycles and detained him.Yitzhak Scharf of Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center said that 80-year-old woman was stabbed in the back and waist and sustained damage to blood vessels and fractured her hip. A 40-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the chest. Another person was lightly wounded he said. The military said the earlier incident in the West Bank was the third attempted stabbing near the checkpoint between the West Bank and Israel in recent weeks. After soldiers approached two Palestinians at a gas station, one attempted to stab a soldier with a knife before the soldiers shot him, the army said.Forces treated the wounded Palestinian at the scene, the army said, but he died of his wounds. Palestinian officials said he was 16 years old. The other Palestinian was arrested. The official Palestinian news agency Wafa said he was wounded in the incident.Video later emerged of a Palestinian smashing a female tour guide over the head with a bottle and then running away outside Jerusalem's Old City. Police said they later apprehended the Palestinian.A series of Palestinian attacks linked to tensions over a sensitive Jerusalem holy site began in mid-September. In addition to the near-daily attacks, violent demonstrations have erupted in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, with Palestinian stone-throwers clashing with Israeli troops.Eleven Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks, mostly stabbings. Sixty-nine Palestinians have died by Israeli fire, including 43 who Israel says were involved in attacks or attempted attacks.Israel says the outburst of violence is the result of Palestinian incitement. Palestinians say the violence stems from a lack of hope for gaining independence after years of failed peace efforts. In the West Bank city of Ramallah on Monday, Palestinian security forces held a military salute at a funeral ceremony for two Palestinians killed by Israeli fire. One had tried to grab a soldier's rifle in Jerusalem, and the other had tried to stab a soldier at a West Bank checkpoint, according to the Israeli military. The Palestinian Authority has been holding official funeral parades in recent weeks in order to prevent militant groups like Hamas from using such ceremonies to whip up popular support, a senior Palestinian security official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about the practice. Also on Monday, Israel's Haaretz newspaper reported that the EU will issue new guidelines on Nov. 11 about labeling products from settlements in the West Bank that are sold in European supermarkets. An Israeli diplomat said Israel has been informed the move could be soon."We believe that the guidelines, particularly at this moment, represent a bonus to Palestinian violence and refusal to negotiate and are of a blatant discriminatory nature, the guidelines encourage an atmosphere of boycott against Israel," he said on condition of anonymity in accordance to protocol. The Palestinians claim east Jerusalem and the West Bank, areas captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war from Jordan, as parts of a future independent state. Most of the international community view Israeli settlements in those areas as illegal.A small but growing number of European businesses and pension funds have begun to drop investments or limit trade with Israeli firms involved in West Bank settlements in recent years.___Associated Press writer Mohammed Daraghmeh in Ramallah, West Bank, contributed to this report.

Israeli minister draws mockery and condemnation at home for proposing stray cats be deported-By The Associated Press | The Canadian Press – nov 2,15-yahoonews

JERUSALEM - A Cabinet minister has drawn outrage and mockery after suggesting transferring the thousands of stray cats that walk the streets of Israel to another country. The Yediot daily published what it said was a letter by Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel proposing the idea. It said he cited Jewish law against animal cruelty as reason not to neuter cats and a biblical commandment to populate the earth.Ariel is from the religious Jewish Home party and usually known for fiery rhetoric against Palestinian statehood.Opposition legislator Tzipi Livni posted a picture on her Facebook page of her playing with a black and white cat. "No way will I get a foreign passport for little one," she wrote.Israeli animal rights activists condemned the minister. Thousands of stray cats roam Israel's streets.

Israel's Economy Minister resigns, paving path for contentious gas deal-By The Associated Press | The Canadian Press – Sun, 1 Nov, 2015-By The Associated Press

JERUSALEM - An Israeli Cabinet minister has resigned, clearing the way for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to circumvent a ruling of the country's antitrust commissioner and advance a contentious natural gas deal.Israel discovered two large fields in 2009 and 2010. But exploiting the gas has turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, amid repeated disputes over pricing, export policies and how to split profits with energy companies developing the fields.Critics accused Netanyahu of caving into a monopoly at the expense of Israel's coffers.Economy Minister Arieh Deri had refused to overrule the antitrust commissioner. With his departure Sunday, Netanyahu can now push forward. He says gas will be Israel's "number one growth engine" in the coming years.

EU gives €28 million to Jordan refugee camp-By EUOBSERVER

2. Nov, 08:41-EU humanitarian affairs commissioner Stylianides said Sunday at the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees that the EU would allocate €28 million to help Jordan with relief efforts. "This money will assist the urgent needs of Syrian refugees and their host communities," he said, reports AFP. Jordan hosts 600,000 Syrian refugees.

EARTH WORSHIP

DEUTERONOMY 17:3-4
3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

DEUTORONOMY 4:15-19
15  Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
16  Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
17  The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
18  The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
19  And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

2 KINGS 23:5
5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

8 ways to reduce your hydro bill-CBC – nov 2,15-yahoonews

Electricity prices in Ontario rose over the weekend, pushing the average household hydro bill up by 3.4 per cent. The price for off-peak hours rose 0.3 cents to 8.3 cents/kWh.The price for mid-peak hours rose 0.6 cents to 12.8 cents/kWh.The price for on-peak hours rose 1.4 cents to 17.5 cents/kWh.The Ontario Energy Board said several factors are driving the price hike, including increased costs related to Ontario Power Generation's nuclear and hydro-electric power plants, as well as costs from renewable sources, such as wind and solar.Toronto Hydro's Tori Gass have these tips to keep your bill as low as possible. 1. Reduce 'phantom power'-Keeping your electronics such as: televisions, computers, and phones plugged in all day can draw in electricity even when the devices are not in use. This is called 'phantom power.'-To reduce this, plug all of your electronic devices in a power bar, and turn it off once you leave the house. 2. Use LED bulbs-According to Hydro One, switching to LED bulbs can cut your electricity use by up to 75 per cent. LEDs last much longer and stay cool.-3. Use a programmable thermostat-Setting your programmable thermostat at 18 degrees while you are sleeping and when you leave the house can reduce your heating costs up to 10 percent."For every degree lower that you set your thermostat at you can save 3 per cent on heating costs," said Tori Gass from Toronto Hydro.-4. Dishwashers-Running your dishwasher during off-peak hours can save you about half the cost of electricity than running it during peak hours. Use the air-dry setting or leave the door open to naturally dry the dishes. 5. Laundry-25 per cent of all household hot water is used for washing clothes. If you use cold water for washing and rinsing you could save enough energy for about 220 showers.Wait to do a full load of laundry, and do it only during off peak hours or weekends. If you are buying a new washer, go for an Energy Star model. They are 20 per cent more efficient. 6. Clothes lines-Forego the cost of drying your clothes and air dry. In the summer put your clothes on an outdoor clothes line. Or you can air dry your clothes inside using a drying rack.-7. Microwave or toaster ovens vs. electric stove-If you need to reheat or cook something on the fly, microwaves and toaster ovens use 50 per cent less electricity than an electric stove. 8. Window and door treatments-Window and door air leakages can take up 25 per cent of heating costs. Purchasing plastic window covers and weather stripping your doors can seal in more heat and lower your bills.

Hollande secures climate pact in China By Peter Teffer-nov 2,15-euobserver

Brussels, 2. Nov, 16:48-French president Francois Hollande scored some points with environmentalists on behalf of Europe on Monday (2 November), as he and Chinese president Xi Jinping came out with a declaration on climate change that sees China moving somewhat in Europe's direction.China agreed that a global climate deal, which countries will seek to clinch at a conference in Paris later this year, should include a review mechanism.China and France "are in favour of a comprehensive review to take place every five years to assess the progress made towards the agreed long-term objectives", a statement released by the Elysee said. While the declaration did not specifically say so, according to Hollande the review would provide "the necessary upward revision of the national pledges every five years".The declaration called for 'Paris' to yield an "ambitious and legally binding" deal, which keeps the earth's temperature rise limited to no more than two degrees Celsius. It also noted that both countries see the importance of supporting developing countries financially in sustainable development and climate resilience."What we have just established here in this declaration is a likelihood that the Paris conference will succeed", Hollande said according to international media."That doesn't mean that the Paris conference is definitely going to be a success, but the conditions for success have been laid down in Beijing today", he added. The French leader said his visit to China was "historic, and I weigh my words".The Paris climate change conference will commence in four weeks, on Monday 30 November, with a mini-summit of world leaders including Xi. A deal is hoped to have been achieved by the end of the two weeks of talks. The Sino-French deal, presented during Hollande's visit to Beijing, brings to mind the US-China agreement announced in the same month last year, which injected some much-needed optimism in the world of climate talks.China is the world's largest polluter in absolute terms, so any international climate deal will need its cooperation to succeed.-'Encouraging'-The EU's climate commissioner, Miguel Arias Canete, said in a social media message the declaration was a "very important step forward on the way to an ambitious deal in Paris".According to NGO Climate Action Network Europe (CAN), the news from Beijing shows China "no longer hides behind its developing country status"."It is encouraging to see that China is willing to take on commitments to reduce its emissions and financially support poor countries in their efforts to tackle climate change", the NGO told this website in an e-mailed comment.Greenpeace too was cautiously optimistic. Its China climate campaigner Li Shuo, called it "encouraging to see the ball rolling and diplomacy nudging us a small step forward"."Moreover, with the recent decline in coal consumption and robust renewable energy development, China is positioning itself at the front of climate leadership. This is drastically different from six years ago in Copenhagen", said Li in a press release. The idea behind including a review mechanism is that the Paris deal will not be the fix-all of the entire climate issue, but rather a starting point. That would avoid locking countries into an emissions reduction path that cannot be accelerated if necessary."I have no doubt there will be an agreement in Paris. The question is: how often will it be reviewed", an industry source who has followed climate talks for two decades said recently."If we don't have a review, we won't increase ambition", he added.Last Friday, UN climate chief Christina Figueres said that the current nationally decided pledges are not enough to stay under the threshold of two degrees Celsius, but added that she was optimistic of the state of climate talks compared to before the bottom-up approach was adopted.

Climate pledges 'not enough' to avoid catastrophe, UN says By Peter Teffer-euobserver

Brussels, 30. Oct, 16:12-Government pledges made so far are not enough to avoid irreversible catastrophic damage to the world's climate, but the bottom-up approach to climate diplomacy has yielded better results than ever before, the UN's climate chief Christina Figueres said on Friday (30 October).Figueres made her remarks at a press conference presenting the findings of a UN report aggregating 146 countries' climate pledges, or intended nationally determined contributions (INDCs).“The INDCs have the capability of limiting the forecast temperature rise to around 2.7 degrees Celsius by 2100, by no means enough but a lot lower than the estimated four, five, or more degrees of warming projected by many prior to the INDCs,” said Figueres.Global temperature has risen by around 0.8 degrees Celsius since the industrial revolution. Scientists say that once the rise has hit 2 degrees, there will be no turning back. The tipping point would likely increase the occurrence of extreme weather events such as floods, droughts, and heat waves. Governments around the world promised that they would keep the temperature rise under 2 degrees, but an attempt for a global deal on greenhouse gas reduction failed dramatically in Copenhagen five years ago.One month from now, countries will make a new attempt at a climate deal in Paris. The difference this time is that a bottom-up approach has been chosen."Governments from all corners of the Earth have signalled through their INDCs that they are determined to play their part according to their national circumstances and capabilities,", said Figueres. While initially there was scepticism about whether enough countries would send in their pledges on time for the UN review, there were many last-minute submissions. Two days before the 1 October deadline, only 74 countries of 194 had handed in their INDC. But after the last-minute rush, 119 plans had been handed in for 146 countries (the 28 EU countries had handed in theirs collectively, well on time). The UN-reviewed plans included countries that covered 86 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. The EU's Joint Research Centre did its own review, including some plans that were handed in after the deadline. It said in its analysis of the plans of 155 countries, or 90 percent of emissions, that if all plans are carried out, the temperature increase would be 3 degrees.France's foreign minister Laurent Fabius, whose country will host the climate talks later this year, said the national plans “enable us to change the situation and lead us away from the worst-case scenario”.He noted that a Paris deal requires setting up “rules for scaling up the ambition set out in the national contributions over time”. Environmentalists were quick to release statements about the report, mixing cautious optimism combined with a call for more action.“While the current pledges are inadequate, they're still enough to send a clear signal to investors that the age of fossil fuels is over”, said the anti-fossil fuel movement 350.org.“ Almost all countries have joined the race to set climate targets, because political leaders can no longer afford to ignore the benefits of the transition away from fossil fuels”, said Climate Action Network Europe, adding that “the pledges are not bold enough yet”.Next month, Fabius will host a ministerial meeting in Paris from 8-10 November, with the actual two-week climate summit kicking off on 30 November.

Focus-Climate host Paris's green goals bogged down by bureaucracy By Eric Maurice-euobserver

BRUSSELS, 2. Nov, 07:00-Since 1 July, buses and lorries built before 2001 cannot enter Paris. Next summer, the ban will be extended to all vehicles built before 1997. The ultimate target is to keep all diesel-powered vehicles built before 2011 out of the French capital."I will not drop the aim of eradicating diesel in Paris by 2020," said Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris, the city which will host the all-important international climate conference, due to start four weeks from Monday (2 November). In a country where 59 percent of cars are still diesel-powered - only Luxembourg and Ireland use more - the ambition is both highly symbolic and seemingly politically risky.Hidalgo, who was elected in 2014, has made climate one of her flagship policies. Reducing traffic and carbon emissions is only the most visible measure of a wider drive to make Paris a leading city in the fight against climate change.Hidalgo is implementing a "climate and energy action plan" launched by her predecessor, Bertrand Delanoe, to update a previous plan adopted in 2007.The aim is to reduce carbon emissions by 25 percent by 2020 compared to 2004, and by 75 percent by 2050. The plan also targets a 25 percent reduction of energy consumption compared to 2004, and 25 percent of energy consumption from renewable energy.-High ambitions-The City of Paris committed to reduce its own carbon footprint, aiming to reduce emissions and energy consumption by 30 percent by 2020 compared to 2004, and to use by that date 30 percent of renewable energy. In addition to road traffic limitations, the climate plan sets targets for an improvement of public transportation, low-energy housing and services, and the development of a green economy and innovation."Globally, it is an interesting document, with quite high ambitions," Charlotte Izard, from the French section of the Climate Action Network (CAN), told EUobserver.Despite Hidalgo's high-profile fight against diesel cars, Izard, however, said that Paris' mayor did not go far enough."There is still much to do, especially as car pollution is an environmental issue, but also more and more a health issue," she said. "Bicycles are relatively little used compared to other European cities, and too little is done to make Paris more pedestrian".And while the action plan is ambitious as far as emissions and consumption reduction is concerned, it is not ambitious enough on adaptation - a place for nature or agriculture in urban areas - Izard pointed out.Izard also lamented the fact that the plan is silent on fossil fuel divestment. "The City of Paris could act on its financial portfolio and divest assets linked to fossil fuels. It could also decide not to invest in new airport infrastructure," she said.-COP21 capital-The climate plan will be revised in 2017, but the main axis of this revision is not yet known. Nor has there been an evaluation of the impact of the measures taken so far.The last official carbon accounting for Paris was published in 2011, before the launch of the current plan, and based on data from 2009.In 2009, two years after the first action plan was launched, carbon emissions were down 2 percent compared to 2004. The main reasons for that reduction, the City of Paris explained, was a decrease in energy consumption in buildings and a a decrease in car traffic. The UN climate change conference (COP21) that is scheduled to take place in the French capital on 30 November-11 December will be a showcase for Hidalgo's ambitions. On 4 December, Hidalgo will host a summit of a thousand world mayors, alongside former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg.Bloomberg is the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for cities and climate change, and he is leading the Compact of mayors, a coalition of mayors and city officials fighting climate change at a local level.Ahead of the COP21, Hidalgo also organised a summit of 32 European cities in Paris last March. Mayors of cities and capitals committed to "join forces and strengthen the instruments that will lead us towards the energy and environmental transition".-Regional impact on Paris climate-While the COP21 is referred to as the Paris summit or the Paris conference, the discussions themselves will not take place in Paris. It will be in the town of Le Bourget, a dozen kilometres on the other side of the peripherique, the Paris ring road that is also the administrative, political and often cultural limit between Paris and its suburban region. With 2 million inhabitants living on 105.4 square kilometres, the city of Paris represents only a small part of the 12,012 square kilometre Ile de France region, where 12 million people live - 19 percent of the whole French population. When it comes to climate policies, actions undertaken by the City of Paris can only have a limited impact if they are not coordinated with or supported by the rest of the region. And in return, actions taken, or lack thereof, by local authorities around Paris can have an impact in Paris, like air pollution." Even if there is a dialogue between Paris and other authorities, there is currently no common climate action plan," an official from one authority told EUobserver. "We try to have meetings ahead, but each authority makes its own decision."Eight action plans have been launched by local authorities in the region in recent years. The Region itself, which is a political entity with an assembly and a president, adopted its own framework in 2012 after it was elaborated with the national government. To complicate matters further, a new entity will be created on 1 January 2016, the Metropole du Grand Paris (Greater Paris Metropolis). It will be comprised of Paris and three of the Ile de France departments. The Grand Paris will be responsible for climate policy, but only from 2017, and will have to set up its own climate action plan. "We do not know how services will be organised or how decisions will be taken," the official said. The new organisation may also impact the implementation of the current plan, when it comes to the link between urban and rural areas."The sources of renewable energies are in rural areas, which are part of the Region but will be outside the Metropolis," Climate Action Network's Charlotte Izard said. "They will have to find a modus vivendi."While Hidalgo's ambitions are already curtailed by lack of regional cooperation, the Paris mayor may find it even harder to establish a climate policy that lives up to the importance of her capital. This article was first published in EUobserver's Regional Focus Magazine 2015

ETFO reaches tentative labour deal with Ontario government-CBC – nov 2,15-yahoonews

A tentative deal has been reached with Ontario's public elementary school teachers, ending a work-to-rule campaign that began in the spring.Ontario Education Minister Liz Sandals and Sam Hammond, president of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO), announced the deal separately late on Monday afternoon. "The process to get to the tentative agreement has not always been easy, but I want to thank everybody for coming together," Sandals said at a news conference. The elementary teachers union said it is advising its members to suspend their work-to-rule action. The union's 78,000 members started a work- to-rule campaign in May that they escalated near the beginning of the school year and again last month when they withdrew from extracurricular activities. The deal means the Liberal government doesn't have to follow through on its threat to dock the pay of teachers on administrative strikes. The province had said those teachers would face reduced pay if their work-to-rule campaign did not end by Nov. 1. That deadline passed with no word from the government, as talks continued through the weekend.Sandals said Monday the deadline appeared to "facilitate" talks. The deal "will ensure that students and teachers across Ontario remain in the classroom," Sandals said.Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, pending ratification by union members. But Sandals said the terms such as salary, are similar to those for English Catholic and public school teachers. Those deals included raises of 1.5 per cent plus another one-per-cent bonus.Sandals said the deal also conforms to the Ontario government's "net zero" approach to talks with public labour unions, meaning any salary increases are offset through savings elsewhere,The teachers have been without a contract since August 2014. This was the first round of negotiations under the Liberals' new two-tier bargaining system, with separate central and local talks.Earlier this fall, the province reached deals with other major teachers unions. No deal for OSSTF-Educational support staff represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF) have waged similar work-to-rule campaigns and faced the same deadline. Their members include custodial staff, office administrators, early childhood educators, tradespeople, library technicians and speech pathologists. The government earlier in the day reached an agreement with CUPE, but Sandals said the province has no deal with the OSSTF.She said those workers could now have their pay docked by up to 10 per cent, though she stressed that decision rests with local school boards and trustees.OSSTF workers will be given five days' notice if their pay is to be docked. The earliest such pay cuts could take effect is next Monday, Sandals said."Job action is negatively impacting our students, schools have become increasingly dirty, and we're increasingly concerned about the health, safety and well-being of our students," she said. "This cannot go on."-OSSTF president Paul Elliott said his union won't "respond to threats.""Our support staff members have been without a contract for fourteen months and they will not cease any job sanctions until a tentative central deal has been reached," he said in a statement.Sandals said she still hopes the union and the province will reach a settlement.

Pipeline company TransCanada asks U.S. to pause Keystone XL process-By Alexander Panetta, The Canadian Press | The Canadian Press – nov 2,15-yahoonews

WASHINGTON - In a surprise move that could have a ripple effect on politics in two countries, the company behind the controversy-plagued Keystone XL pipeline asked the U.S. government Monday to temporarily suspend its application. That request from TransCanada Corp. added a new wrinkle to one of the biggest Canada-U.S. political irritants of recent years, potentially pushing it off beyond the 2016 U.S. presidential election. It came in a letter to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry where the Calgary-based company suggested the administration should withhold its decision while the Nebraska portion of the route remains in dispute. It represented a major turn of events for an already-epic, years-long pipeline battle — the first of several across the continent with implications for exports of Canada's land-locked oilsands bitumen." TransCanada believes that it would be appropriate at this time for the State Department to pause in its review of the Presidential Permit application for Keystone XL," said the letter, sent Monday."This will allow a decision on the Permit to be made later based on certainty with respect to the route of the pipeline." It's an about-face in the company's message. Until recently, it would have been unimaginable for the Calgary company or its backers in Ottawa to have been demanding a delay. They had repeatedly expressed urgency over a project that would carry nearly one-quarter of all Canadian oil exports. But TransCanada may have settled on a new strategic calculus: that a delay is better than a rejection. The short-term political prospects for the project seemed dim.President Barack Obama has repeatedly expressed skepticism about the pipeline. His supporters overwhelmingly expect him to reject it. All the major Democratic presidential candidates also oppose it.But it has widespread backing among Republicans, and a delay now would almost inevitably make the pipeline a 2016 election issue to be settled by Obama's successor.A delay would also offer a reprieve from a potential sore spot for a new Trudeau government hoping to build a positive relationship with the Obama administration. There's a question mark hanging over the delay request, however: The U.S. government hasn't responded to it yet. In fact, just a few hours earlier Monday, a White House spokesman was promising a decision during Obama's final term."Our expectation at this point... is that the president will make a decision before the end of his administration," Josh Earnest told reporters."It's possible (it could happen this year). It's also possible it could happen next year."

FALSE POPE FROM THE VATICAN

ISAIAH 23:15-17
15  And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.
16  Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.
17  And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.(COULD THIS BE 70 YEARS AFTER ISRAEL BECAME A NATION IN 1948)(IF SO THIS SATANIC ONE WORLD WHORE CHURCH WILL MINGLE TOGETHER BY 2018)(AND NOW ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY AND ALL RELIGIONS ARE MINGLING AS ONE PEACE-LOVE-JOY-GET ALONG RELIGION LEAD BY THE VATICAN RIGHT NOW 4 YEARS FROM THE 70 YEAR TIME WHEN ISRAEL BECAME A NATION).AND IN CONTROL OF JERUSALEM.

1/ 2/2015 -“Publishing books with confidential documents does not help the Pope’s mission”-A view of St. Peter's Square-“Publications of this kind do not contribute in any way to establish clarity and truth, but rather to create confusion and partial and tendentious interpretations”-Iacopo Scaramuzzi-vatican insider

vatican city-The books which are due out soon and which are the result of “the removal and dissemination of news and confidential documents” do “not contribute in any way to establish clarity and truth, but rather to create confusion and partial and tendentious interpretations. We must absolutely avoid the mistake of thinking that this is a way to help the mission of the Pope.” The Vatican Press Office issued this statement in a communiqué, officially announcing the arrests of Lucio Angel Vallejo Balda and Francesca Chaouqui, just days before two books are due to be published: “Via Crucis” by Gianluigi Nuzzi and “Avarizia” by Emiliano Fittipaldi. The communiqué does not, however, specify the titles and authors of the two books.“As part of criminal investigations carried out by the Vatican Gendarmerie that have been underway for several months involving the removal and dissemination of news and confidential documents, last Saturday and Sunday two individuals were called in for questioning on the basis of the evidence gathered,” the Holy See Press Office informs in a communiqué issued this afternoon. “The individuals are an ecclesiastic, Monsignor Lucio Angel Vallegjo Balda and Doctor Francesca Chaouqui, who in the past were respectively secretary and member of COSEA (Commission charged to study and address the organization of Economic-Administrative Structure of the Holy See, established by the Pope in July 2013 and subsequently dissolved after the completion of its mandate). Following the results of the interrogation, the two people were held in detention in view of the continuing investigation. Today the Office of the Promoter of Justice, Professor Advocate Gian Piero Milano, Promoter of Justice, and Professor Roberto Zannotti, Asssitant Promoter of Justice, has validated the arrest of the above individuals, but they released Dr. Chaouqui, against whom there were no precautionary requirements and also due to the fact that she cooperated with the investigation. The position of Monsignor Vallejo Balda remains under consideration of the Office of the Promoter of Justice.”The communiqué does not mention the Vatileaks scandal of 2012 but continues by saying that “the disclosure of information and confidential documents is an offense under Law no. IX of the State of Vatican City (13 July 2013) Article 10 (art. 116 bis C.P. ). As for the books announced for publication in the next few days, let it be clearly stated at this time, as in the past, that such actions are a serious betrayal of trust granted by the Pope and with regard to the authors, an operation that takes advantage of a seriously unlawful act unlawful delivery of confidential documents – an operation whose legal implications and possibly penalties are under study by the Office of the Promoter of Justice in view of possible further measures that will involve international cooperation. if necessary. Publications of this kind do not contribute in any way to establish clarity and truth, but rather to create confusion and partial and tendentious interpretations. We must absolutely avoid the mistake of thinking that this is a way to help the mission of the Pope.”ANSA news agency says Pope Francis has been informed of these provisions within Vatican law and has given his approval.

10/31/2015-Vatican auditor general's computer has been hacked-IT security-The Gendarmerie is looking into the incident. Meanwhile, two books that publish documents on the management of the Holy See’s finances are on the way-Andrea Tornielli

vatican city-The computer of the Auditor general of the Holy See, Libero Milone, has been hacked. The Vatican Gendarmerie has launched an investigation to find out who in the past few weeks has tried to get hold of data stored in the PC of the man who was appointed as head of the new office – created as part of the reforms being made to the Vatican finances and economic bodies – in June.Luigi Brignani revealed the news yesterday evening, on Italian television programme Virus. Today, Italian newspaper Il Tempo also published a story about. The Holy See Press Office did not wish to comment on the incident, simply stating: “We have no comment to make at present”. Pope Francis put 67-year-old Milone in charge of overseeing and checking the accounts and financial statements of all the bodies, offices and institutions of the Holy See.Milone had worked at audit and consulting firm Deloitte for 32 years, eventually becoming CEO of Deloitte in Italy. Since 2007 he has worked as a consultant for a number of private companies and as a member of some boards of directors of businesses listed on the stock exchange. According to the new Statute, the Auditor’s Office has the task of overseeing the dicasteries of the Roman Curia and the institutions  linked to it as well as the administrative entities of the Vatican Governorate.Next week, two books are due to be published, presenting never-before-seen documents from inside the Holy See, relating to the Vatican’s latest financial events. The authors of the two books are L’Espresso’s Emiliano Fittipaldi and Mediaset’s Gianluigi Nuzzi, respectively.Readers will recall that after his election back in 2013, Pope Francis established two commissions: one was to look into the reform of the IOR, while the other was to examine and advise on the organisation of the Holy See’s economic and administrative structure. The second of these, COSEA, sifted through paperwork and accounts, suggesting reforms in order to elucidate expenditures and improve management overall. The commission’s work led to the creation of the Secretariat for the Economy, headed by Cardinal George Pell. It was no easy task and even after the new body was established, there was still internal friction between the new dicastery and the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See, because of disagreements over the allocation of duties and the direction the management of finances should take. This friction is apparently one of the elements discussed in the two new books that are due to be published.

Nearly 2 dozen sickened by E. coli linked to Chipotle marks chain's 3rd outbreak this year-By Donna Gordon Blankinship, The Associated Press | The Canadian Press – nov 2,15-yahoonews

SEATTLE - Chipotle closed 43 of its Pacific Northwest locations after the chain's third foodborne illness this year sickened about two dozen people — prompting renewed scrutiny of a company that touts its use of fresh ingredients and farm-sourced fare.Cases of the bacterial illness were traced to six of the casual Mexican food restaurants, but the company voluntarily closed down all of its locations in Washington and the Portland, Oregon, area as a precaution as an investigation continues.Three people in the Portland area and 19 people in western Washington have gotten sick with E. coli as of Friday. Seventeen of them had eaten at a Chipotle restaurant during the past few weeks. Eight people have been hospitalized but no deaths have been reported.About a dozen more people were being tested for E. coli on Monday in Washington state and health officials were aggressively searching for more cases, said Dr. Scott Lindquist, state epidemiologist for communicable diseases for the Washington State Department of Health.Lindquist does not expect the number of sick people to increase dramatically, and he said they are not positive yet that the outbreak is limited to people who ate at Chipotle restaurants over the past few weeks. Those sickened in the E. coli outbreak range in age from 11 to 61. Lindquist did not have any detailed information about their medical conditions.Chipotle has faced other recent foodborne outbreaks. A salmonella outbreak linked to tomatoes sickened dozens of people in Minnesota beginning in August, according to state health officials. In California, health workers said norovirus sickened nearly 100 customers and employees at a Chipotle restaurant in Simi Valley in mid-August."Having three problems in a couple of months means that Chipotle is not paying attention to food safety like it should," said Bill Marler, a Seattle food safety lawyer who built his national reputation with the 1993 E. coli outbreak at Seattle Jack in the Box restaurants. The common denominator in most food-borne illness outbreaks is poor food safety, Marler said.People should not assume a company that focuses on local and fresh ingredients — like Chipotle — is going to be immune from food safety issues, he said."People shouldn't have a false sense of security that local means safer," Marler said.Health officials believe the contamination at Chipotle is related to a fresh food product such as lettuce or other produce. The outbreak probably will not be traced to one sick individual or one instance of cross-contamination of food because the cases are connected with various restaurants, said Marisa D'Angeli, medical epidemiologist with the Washington State Department of Health. The company is not planning to close any other restaurants in other states because there is no evidence of a link to other locations, company spokesman Chris Arnold said.Only six restaurants in Washington and Oregon have been connected to the outbreak."We closed 43 in those states out of an abundance of caution," Arnold said.Reopening the shuttered locations will depend on the investigation, he said.Adam Adamson of New York marketing consulting firm BrandSimple said the outbreak in Washington state is likely to hurt the brand far beyond the closed stores."Many consumers will feel, 'Why risk it?,' until they find out how it happened," Adamson said. "Consumers have lots of choices." Although the shutdown restaurants represent just 2 per cent of the company's 1,931 locations, each restaurant brings in about $2.5 million in revenue a year on average, according to Chipotle.Chipotle's stock fell as much as 5 per cent early Monday, but recovered slightly, falling 2.5 per cent to close at $624.The decision to close down immediately will help the brand in the long-term, said Laura Ries, president of Atlanta marketing strategy firm Ries & Ries. "They went above and beyond what they needed to do," she said. Customers tend to return to eating foods that caused illnesses as soon as they are assured it's safe, said Darren Seifer, a food analyst at market research firm NPD Group.Chipotle's stock fell as much as 5 per cent early Monday, but recovered slightly, and was down about 3 per cent by Monday afternoon.Outside a closed Chipotle near the University of Washington in Seattle, Trey Reche stopped by to read the signs on the door."I think Chipotle has too much of a strong fan base to go completely under by this," said Reche, who last ate at Chipotle a few weeks ago. "It might be a huge wakeup call for them to rethink how they're getting their food."___AP writers Manuel Valdes in Seattle and Joseph Pisani in New York contributed to this report.

ISAIAH 30:26-27
26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold,(7X OR 7-DEGREES HOTTER) as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people,(ISRAEL) and healeth the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

MATTHEW 24:21-22,29
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake (ISRAELS SAKE) those days shall be shortened (Daylight hours shortened)(THE ASTEROID HITS EARTH HERE)
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

REVELATION 16:7-9
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
